In order to make available a control arrangement which satisfies high safety requirements, it is proposed that the control arrangement has a process control module (42) which is different from the control unit (26), is connected to the control network (24) and has a data connection unit (44) which is different from the control network (24) and by which the process control module (42) is connected by data technology to the sub-system controllers (28).
