[origin: WO2016174133A1] The invention relates to a machining system for aircraft structural components, comprising a first frame (1) for holding a work piece, and a second frame (7) for holding a tool pair (8), comprising an upper tool (9) and a lower tool (10) cooperating therewith, wherein the workpiece is positioned between the upper tool (9) and the lower tool (10), wherein the second frame (7) is designed for displacement at least in a longitudinal direction (L) with respect to a base, and wherein the tool pair (8) is accommodated in the second frame (7) for displacement in a transverse direction (Q) angled with respect to the longitudinal direction (L), wherein the second frame (7) is accommodated on at least one pivot bearing (16) so the second frame (7) can be pivoted together with the tool pair (8) in an adjustable manner about a pivot axis (B).
