[origin: WO2016177662A1] A self-cleaning composite material comprising the following composition: 50%-85% in weight of alumina trihydrate (ATH)-based mineral charges; 10%-30% of cross-linking polymer comprising polyester resin; photocatalytic Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) dispersed in the cross- linking polymer in a weight percentage from 0.05% to 5% with respect to the weight of the cross-linking polymer; compatibilizing agent for anchoring between the photocatalytic TiO2 and the cross-linking polymer, wherein said anchoring compatibilizing agent of the TiO2 is silane; and cross-linking monomers in order to obtain the reticulation of the cross- linking polymer by means of thermal or chemical polymerization.
