[origin: WO2018019320A1] The invention relates to an improvement on a hose cartridge for a peristaltic pump. The hose cartridge is u-shaped and is made of elastic material such that the fluid-conveying hose segment can better enclose the roller wheel, as a result of which the pump power is improved. Surprisingly, a cartridge designed in this way can be produced in a simpler and more cost-effective way as compared to prior-art cartridges.
