[origin: US2018066404A1] The disclosure relates to a road paver that comprises a tractor with a material hopper and a machine frame. The machine frame is pivotably connected to the paving screed by pulling arms and a material spreading auger is disposed in a gap between the tractor and the paving screed. A longitudinal conveyor device extends through a tunnel between the material hopper and the gap. The road paver according to the disclosure is characterized by a spraying device that is configured for injecting a liquid into the gap between the tractor and the paving screed or into the tunnel or into the material hopper.
