[origin: WO2015039644A1] The invention relates to a motor vehicle hinge, comprising a first hinge half (10) which can be fastened to one of motor vehicle door (20a) and door frame (10a), and a second hinge half (20) which can be fastened to the other of motor vehicle door (20a) and door frame (10a), and a hinge pin (30) which connects the two hinge halves (10, 20) in an articulated manner, wherein at least one (10) of the two hinge halves (10, 20) has a supporting structure (11) and an insert (12), wherein the supporting structure (11) and the insert (12) are fixed with respect to one another. A motor vehicle hinge which is improved in terms of dimension and weight is provided according to the invention in that the hinge pin (30) is mounted on at least one eye (116, 117) of the supporting structure (11).
