The impeller main part (4) and the impeller covering body (5) can be moved axially relative to each other via an adjusting device (22). In order to achieve an active and reliable regulation of the centrifugal pump (1) over the entire rotational speed and temperature range with very low drive power, the impeller main part (4) is arranged on the driveshaft (7) or the impeller covering body (5) in an axially movable manner, and the adjusting device (22) is operatively connected to the impeller main part (4).
