[origin: WO2018050312A1] The invention relates to a system (01) for the thermal treatment, in particular pyrolysis, gasification, and/or combustion, of waste products continuously passing through, comprising an elongate, horizontally oriented primary reaction chamber (10) having a reaction bed (20) and having at least one rotary driver (30), wherein the primary reaction chamber (10) has a closable supply opening (16) on a wall (11), for supplying the waste products, and has a closable discharge opening (17) on the wall (11), for discharging the reaction residues, wherein the reaction bed (20) is closed and free of openings over the entire area thereof, wherein the reaction bed (20) reaches a highest point (21) and a lowest point (22), wherein the area therebetween is inclined and/or stepped, wherein the rotary driver (30) is oriented and mounted for rotation transversely to the longitudinal axis of the primary reaction chamber (10), and wherein the turning circle of the rotary driver (30) is spaced apart from the surface of the reaction bed (20), wherein the wall (11) of the primary reaction chamber (10) can be completely or partially heated.
