[origin: EP3299709A1] A variable focus lighting fixture includes fixed and moveable sleeve assemblies (100, 200), a light emitting unit (300), a lens (400) and an actuation assembly (500). The moveable sleeve assembly (200) penetrates into the fixed sleeve assembly (100) and moves relatively. The light emitting unit (300) is secured onto the fixed sleeve assembly (100). The lens (400) is secured onto the moveable sleeve assembly (200). The actuation assembly (500) is connected between the moveable and fixed sleeve assemblies (200, 100). The actuation assembly (500) includes a spiral curve slot (510) and a sliding pin (520) penetrating therein. When the moveable sleeve assembly (200) rotates along a central axis thereof, the sliding pin (520) moves along the spiral curve slot (510) to drive the moveable sleeve assembly (200) along the axial direction thereof. Accordingly, the projection path of light from the light emitting unit (300) through the lens (400) is altered.
