Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2016191789A1] The invention relates to safety equipment (1) for the human head, comprising a protective helmet (2) with a helmet shell (3) and comprising an image capturing system (4) with a first image capturing unit (5) and a display unit (10). The first image capturing unit (5) has a first receiving housing (6), a first image sensor (7) received in the receiving housing, a control unit (8), an electric energy source (9), and a wireless communication interface (12). The display unit (10) is communicatively connected to the control unit (8) and together with the control unit forms a corresponding assembly module. The display unit (10) is held on the first image capturing unit (5) at a distance therefrom by means of a semi-rigid flexible connection element (11). The first receiving housing (6) of the first image capturing unit (5) is held in a replaceable manner in a coupling receiving area (13) which is formed in a deepened manner in the helmet shell (3). The invention further relates to a use support method using such safety equipment (1).
