[origin: EP3305951A1] The spinning frame (3) includes: a state acquisition unit (310) configured to acquire a lack of material in which a roved yarn bobbin (10) around which roved yarn (13) is wound has run out of the roved yarn; a plurality of roller pairs (331, 332, 333) configured to draft the roved yarn, the roller pairs respectively having bottom rollers (331a, 332a, 333a) and top rollers (331b, 332b, 333b); a plurality of drive units (331c, 332c, 333c) configured to drive the respective bottom rollers in the corresponding roller pairs; and a control unit (312) configured to control at least one of the drive units when the state acquisition unit acquires a lack of material such that the yarn after spinning becomes thicker before a lack of material is acquired, when the state acquisition unit acquires a lack of material.
