[origin: WO2016198115A1] A nut socket unit for power wrenches, comprising a tubular socket body (10;50) with a front end portion (13;53) adapted for engagement with a screw joint, and a rear end portion (11;51) adapted for connection to a power wrench output shaft, and an arresting mechanism (15;55) for locking the socket body (10;50) to a power wrench output shaft, wherein the arresting mechanism (15;59) includes an axially displaceable maneuver sleeve (19;59), wherein the maneuver sleeve (19;59) is freely rotatable relative to the socket body (10;50). At the front end portion (13;53) of the socket body (10;50) there is also provided a freely rotatable protective sleeve (30;70) for operator protective purposes.
