Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2017103830A1] A prosthetic heart valve having a plurality of leaflets formed from a single continuous tissue is disclosed. The leaflets made from a single continuous tissue are seated in a support frame having plurality of expandable cells. Semi-circular arcs of the leaflets are attached to a bottom row of the support frame while attachment nodes of rectangular cross-sections of the tissue are attached to commissures of the support frame. The tissue at the attachment nodes can be sutured to the support frame with leaflet sutures being positioned outside the support frame.
