Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2016203125A1] The present invention relates to a safety lighting device (1) which comprises a casing which houses at least one lighting means (6) movable between a retracted position and an extended position relative to a surface (7) of said casing (2). The device is characterised in that said lighting means is pivotably mounted about axes (X1, X2, X3, X4) that are parallel to said surface (7) of the casing, on an annular cradle (8) contained inside said casing, comprising an upper edge (84) and a lower edge (85) and defining a recess inside of which said lighting means is housed in the retracted position thereof, said annular cradle (8) in turn being mounted pivotably on the inner side (74) of said surface (7) of said housing (2), about an axis (X5) perpendicular to said surface (7), and so that said recess communicates with a through-opening (72) made in said surface (7), said through-opening (72) being capable of defining a passage for said lighting means moved between the retracted position thereof and the extended position thereof, and vice versa.
