[origin: WO2017001743A1] The present invention relates to a fire extinguisher (1) including a body (2) extending along a longitudinal axis (X) and defining a storage chamber (4) in which a load of an extinguishing agent is present as well as a pressurization chamber (5) including a pyrotechnic gas generator, the pressurization chamber (5) being separated from the storage chamber (4) by a perforated wall (7) configured to connect an outlet of the pyrotechnic gas generator to the storage chamber (4), the perforated wall (7) defining a bottom of the storage chamber (4), the extinguisher including a discharge channel configured to eject the extinguishing agent outside the extinguisher (1) when the pyrotechnic gas generator is actuated, said discharge channel leading to the storage chamber (4) via an opening (12a) positioned at a distance from the perforated wall (7), measured along the longitudinal axis of the body, less than or equal to half the length (ls) of the storage chamber (4).
