[origin: CA2992814A1] The invention relates to a container (1) comprising a lid (10), wherein the container comprises a top container edge (1A) and a completely enclosing lateral wall (2) and a top container opening (3) closed by the lid, wherein in the region of the top container edge, a latching edge (4) is provided for connecting in a latching manner to a corresponding latching edge (11) provided on the lid, wherein the latching edge (4) of the container and of the lid each extend at least around a part of the circumference of same, wherein, furthermore, the lateral wall of the container has a surrounding skirt (5) which has a subregion (5A) that extends radially outwards from the lateral wall, and wherein the lid has a bottom lid edge (12) on the outside of the container, wherein the lid has at least one projection (13) extending outside of the lateral wall of the container, which projection extends below the bottom lid edge and passes at least partially through the receptacle skirt (5, 5D), and the projection and the container have corresponding fastening means (14) which can be detached independently of the latching means formed by the latching edge of the container and the lid.
