Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung (1) zum Gefrieren von Erdreich, mit einem entlang einer Längsachse (L) erstreckten Gefrierkopf (100), einer ersten Leitung (10) zum Einleiten eines ersten Kühlmediums (F) oder eines davon verschiedenen zweiten Kühlmediums (S) in einen Innenraum (102) des Gefrierkopfes (100), wobei die erste Leitung (100) in den Innenraum (102) mündet, einer zweiten Leitung (20) zum Einleiten des zweiten Kühlmediums (S) in den Innenraum (102) des Gefrierkopfes (100) oder zum Abziehen des ersten und/oder des zweiten Kühlmediums (F, S) aus dem Innenraum (102) des Gefrierkopfes (100), wobei die zweite Leitung (20) in den Innenraum (102) des Gefrierkopfes (100) mündet, und wobei die Einrichtung (1) zumindest drei separate Anschlüsse (A1, A2, A3) aufweist, nämlich einen ersten Anschluss (A1), über den das erste Kühlmedium (F) in den Innenraum (102) des Gefrierkopfes (100) einleitbar ist, einen zweiten Anschluss (A2), über den das zweite Kühlmedium (S) in den Innenraum (102) des Gefrierkopfes (100) einleitbar ist, und einen dritten Anschluss (A3), über den das erste oder das zweite Kühlmittel (F, S) aus dem Innenraum (102) des Gefrierkopfes (100) abziehbar ist.
