Offenbart ist ein Behälter für den Transport und die Lagerung oder Präsentation von Gütern mit einem Boden, einem ersten mit dem Boden gelenkig verbundenen Seitenwandabschnitt, der um eine zum Boden parallele Klappachse zwischen einer ersten Klappstellung und einer zweiten Klappstellung klappbar ist, und zumindest einem mit einer Seitenkante des ersten Seitenwandabschnitts gelenkig verbundenen zweiten Seitenwandabschnitt, der um eine zum Boden senkrechte Schwenkachse zwischen einer von dem ersten Seitenwandabschnitt seitlich weg geschwenkten ersten Schwenkstellung und einer zweiten Schwenkstellung schwenkbar ist. Erfindungsgemäß weisen der erste Seitenwandabschnitt und/oder der zweite Seitenwandabschnitt an den einander zugewandten Seitenkanten zumindest einen abgewinkelten Seitenrandabschnitt auf und sind die beiden Seitenwandabschnitte derart mit einander gelenkig verbunden, dass der zumindest eine abgewinkelte Seitenrandabschnitt von zumindest einem der beiden Seitenwandabschnitte zumindest in der ersten Schwenkstellung flächig an dem anderen Seitenwandabschnitt anliegt.
