[origin: WO2017055006A1] The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a housing (C) of a turbomachine, in particular a housing (C) of a radial turbo compressor. In order that the housing is less expensive, more precise and particularly reliable, the method comprises the following steps: a) providing a hollow body (CY) that is closed in a circumferential direction and extends along an axis (X); b) coating the inner side of the hollow body (CY) with a corrosion-resistant layer (LY) that is more resistant to corrosion than the material of the hollow body (CY); c) dividing the hollow body (CY) into two half-shells (HCY) along the axis (X) in a separation joint plane (SSP); d) assembling the housing (C) by joining both half-shells (HCY) and fastening both half-shells (HCY) in the region of the separation joints (SP), which were created by separation, by means of detachable fastening elements (FE).
