[origin: WO2017025514A1] On a closing part for an espagnolette fitting of a window, a door, or the like, an elongate receptacle is provided along a longitudinal axis for receiving a locking element of the espagnolette fitting in various longitudinal positions, which locking element can be moved in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The elongate receptacle is bounded transversely to the longitudinal axis by a passage segment, which releases the locking element for lateral motion out of the elongate receptacle, and a stop segment, which blocks lateral motion of the locking element from the elongate receptacle. The closing part comprises a base part and an adjustment part movably supported thereon, in which the elongate receptacle is formed, on which the stop segment is formed, and which can be displaced in relation to the base part transversely to the longitudinal axis between a home position and a displaced position such that the locking element can be laterally displaced to a limited extent in a longitudinal position in which the locking element is blocked by the stop segment.
