[origin: WO2017005388A1] Servicing and monitoring system (1) for monitoring a door member (2), such as of a rolling or sectional door, which can be moved by a drive apparatus (7), wherein a drive control unit (3) for actuating the drive apparatus (7) and least one detection device (4) for detecting a door status (21, 22) are provided, wherein the detection device (4) is connected to the drive control unit (3) to transmit a status signal (401, 402) reporting the door status (21, 22) via a first data connection (81a, 81b). In order to improve the servicing and monitoring of the door member, it is proposed that a data reading device (5, 51, 52) is provided which is suitable for reading the status signal (401, 402) sent from the detection device (4) to the drive control unit (3) and output an alarm signal (501, 502) according to the read status signal (401, 402).
