[origin: EP3321034A1] A wrench type tool is provided for the mounting of studs and similar elements that, when it is uncoupled from the already mounted stud/bolt, the position and/or tightening torque of such stud/bolt is not modified, while the tightening force/torque is applied following an axial direction only, to uniformly distribute the tightening torque along the threaded area of the stud. The tool (1) comprises an axial assembly with a mouth portion (2) where the stud (E) to be mounted is coupled, an element which conveys the tightening force/torque (3) and a centering stop (4) arranged so that it may slide inside the mouth portion, to lock/unlock the stud through the operation of the transmission element (3) with the help of coupling/uncoupling means (5) that have been correspondingly provided.
