[origin: US2018135215A1] The present invention relates to a switch for sorting, deflecting, and supplying ferromagnetic elements. Here, the switch comprises at least two electromagnets, which are embodied curved or circular. The magnets may be installed fixed in the switch, on the one hand, or supported on an axis, on the other hand. The ferromagnetic elements are moved by a conveying element through the switches. Advantageously the switch can also be used to control bobbins in a braiding machine. Here, the bobbin can be transferred to another impeller. This way new options are generated with regard to flexibility of braids. Further, this invention offers a considerable reduction of braiding time in case of complex braids.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Weiche (7) für eine Flechtmaschine zum Ändern und/oder Umkehren einer Bewegungsbahn eines zumindest teilweise aus einem ferromagnetischen Material bestehenden Klöppels (8) der Flechtmaschine, wobei die Weiche (7) zumindest einen Elektromagneten (3, 4) aufweist. Dabei kann der zumindest eine Elektromagnet (3, 4) der Weiche (7) bogenförmig oder kreisförmig ausgestaltet sein. Der Magnet (3, 4) kann zum einen in der Weiche (7) fix verbaut sein oder zum anderen auf einer Achse gelagert werden. Der Klöppel (8) kann an ein anderes Flügelrad (10) flexibel übergeben werden. Hierdurch ergeben sich neue Möglichkeiten in Bezug auf die Flexibilität von Geflechten. Weiter bietet diese Erfindung eine deutliche Reduzierung der Flechtzeit bei komplexen Geflechten.
