[origin: WO2017037059A1] A frame (1) of an item of furniture is disclosed, comprising a bearing system (11) which is provided for rotatably mounting a foldable pillar (2) about an axis (A), and a fixing (12) which is provided for receiving and fixing the foldable pillar (2). The frame (1) is constructed such that fixing can be brought about by means of clamping by a fixing (12) equipped with an eccentric (124). Also disclosed is a securing element (13) which can be brought into a securing position by a lever (125), wherein the lever (125) thereby simultaneously causes the pillar (2) to be clamped in the frame.
