Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2017017037A1] Disclosed is an active noise-control device comprising two earphones (3) each provided with an external microphone (14), an internal microphone (15) and a loudspeaker (16). The control device comprises a processing chain (30) having a feedforward filter linked to the external microphones, a feedback filter linked to the internal microphones, and a reconstruction module supplying every loudspeaker with a signal reconstructed from the output signals of the feedforward filter and the feedback filter. The processing chain comprises a slicer positioned between the feedforward filter and the reconstruction module to ensure that the volume of the reconstructed sound is not too high. The control device comprises adjustment means for the combined adjustment of the slicer and a total gain of the control device.
