Said brush holder comprises: a mounting plate (12); at least one housing (13) mounted on said mounting plate (12), said housing (13) comprising a recess and at least one opening (43); at least one brush (15) positioned inside said recess of said housing (13); and a conductive braid (19) connected to said brush (15), said conductive braid (19) passing through said opening (43) of said housing (13). The brush holder is characterized in that said conductive braid (19) is supported at least on the portion (49) thereof passing through said opening (43).
