[origin: WO2017016562A1] The invention relates to a damper device (10) for damping torsional vibrations in a drive train of a vehicle, having a first unit (26), a second unit (36), at least one energy store (16), wherein the first unit (26) has two side regions, with which it engages over the at least one energy store (16) and a radial outer region (40) of the second unit (36) on both sides, and wherein the second unit (36) is mounted such that it can be rotated to a limited extent with respect to the first unit (26) counter to the action of the at least one energy store (16), and a safety device (46) for protecting the at least one energy store (16) against impermissible loads, wherein the safety device (46) is provided with a first end stop (47) which is fastened to the first unit (26), and a second end stop (49) which is fastened to the second unit (36), wherein the first end stop (47) and the second end stop (49) are arranged in such a way that the rotation of the two units (26, 36) with respect to one another is prevented by way of an impact of the first end stop (47) on the second end stop (49) before the at least one energy store (16) reaches a blocked state, in which the energy store (16) is completely compressed. Furthermore, the invention relates to a torque transmission device, in particular a friction clutch, having an abovementioned damper device (10).
