[origin: WO2017021614A1] The invention relates to a fluid bottle tap protective cap (1) including a mounting collar (4) consisting of at least two portions (41, 42) that are movable or deformable relative to each other so as to increase or decrease the diameter of said collar (4). The cap (1) also includes a device for clamping the cap (4) for decreasing the diameter of said cap and includes a screw (47) and nut (48) system. The two portions (41, 42) of the collar (4) each include one recess (44, 45) for a screw (47) and nut (48) system. A first recess (44) is provided to receive: a first end of a head (46) of the screw (47) of the screw and nut system, and the second recess (45) is provided to receive the second end of the screw (47) and a nut (48) engaging with the screw (47), each recess (44, 45) including respective walls (144, 244, 145, 245) forming a system of abutments for the head (46) of the screw and the nut (48), respectively, in order to transmit a force for clamping and separating the two portions (41, 42) of the collar (40) when the nut (48) is unscrewed from or screwed onto the screw (47).
