[origin: WO2017016721A1] The invention relates to a device (110) for detecting at least one property of a medium. The device (110) comprises: at least one substrate (112); at least two electric contacts (114); and at least one balancing resistor (116). The balancing resistor (116) electrically connects the two electric contacts (114) together along a connection line (118) such that an electric current can flow between the electric contacts (114) parallel to the connection line (118). The balancing resistor (116) extends in an extension direction (120) transversely to the connection line (118) and has a width B, said width B varying along the extension direction (120).
