[origin: US2018154536A1] The invention relates to a device for comminuting foodstuffs, having a base part which has a receptacle for a cutting part, and having an actuation part that is connected in an articulated manner to the base part and is pivotable toward the base part in order for a product to be comminuted to be pushed along a pushing through direction through a cutting part that is inserted into the receptacle. The device is distinguished in that a plurality of cutting parts are present and in that the receptacle is configured for receiving at least two cutting parts on top of one another such that product to be comminuted by means of a pivoting movement of the actuation part toward the base part is capable of being pushed through the cutting parts that are disposed on top of one another in the receptacle wherein the two cutting parts are disposable at different mutual relative rotary alignments in the receptacle.
