[origin: WO2017025676A1] The invention proposes a digitising apparatus for acquiring a digital image of a surface of an object, in which an object to be scanned is moved in a direction of movement relative to an acquisition unit having: a capturing device (30) comprising at least one optical sensor (32) having a plurality of optical cells arranged in a direction of extension of the sensor defining, with the direction of movement, the orientation of a reference plane (PR); and a lighting device. According to the invention, a first carriage lighting device (36) generates first lighting having a first main direction of incidence forming, in a plane perpendicular to the direction of extension of the sensor, an angle (AR) of less than 45 degrees relative to the reference plane, preferably less than 25 degrees, and more preferably less than 20 degrees.
