[origin: WO2017029199A1] The invention relates to a wall cabinet, in particular a kitchen wall cabinet, with a cuboidal cabinet carcass of which the open front side can be closed by at least one cabinet door which is articulated on the cabinet carcass and terminates flush with the outer sides of the vertical side walls and the horizontal cover wall of the cabinet carcass in the closed position of the cabinet door. To ensure that the wall cabinet has at least one cabinet compartment which, independently of the open and close position of the cabinet door, is always accessible for laying down or depositing kitchen utensils and the like, the invention provides that tilting fittings for a cabinet door formed as a hinged door are mounted on the inner sides of the side walls in the upper region of the cabinet carcass, that the tilting fittings are covered by inner walls, that the hinged door is composed of an inner panel and an outer panel which extends over an upper front region of the cabinet carcass from the outer side of the cover wall of the cabinet carcass to the upper side of the lower cabinet compartment and to which there are assigned lowerable front coverings between the inner walls and the side walls of the cabinet carcass, that the outer panel of the hinged door extends at least over a lower region of the front side of the inner panel and extends to the upper side of the lowermost cabinet compartment of the cabinet carcass, and that fixed front coverings between the inner walls and the side walls of the cabinet carcass that extend to the underside of the lowermost cabinet compartment adjoin the lowerable front coverings and are flush with the end sides of the inner walls and the side walls of the cabinet carcass.
