[origin: EP3336318A1] Struts (100) for exhaust frames (34) of turbine systems are disclosed. A strut (100) may include a body (101) including a leading edge (106) and a trailing edge (108), at least aperture (110, 110A, 110B) formed through the body (101) and extending radially between the leading edge (106) and the trailing edge (108), a first section (126) formed between the leading edge (106) and the aperture (110, 110A, 110B), and a second section (128) formed between the trailing edge (108) and the aperture (110, 110A, 110B). The second section (128) may be configured to move independent from the first section (126). The independent movement of the first section (126) and the second section (128) may allow for the struts (100) of the exhaust frame (34) to distribute and manage a load and/or stress experienced by the exhaust frame (34) and/or the struts (100) during operation of a gas turbine system.
