[origin: WO2018109214A1] The invention relates to an assembly with an electric cable (2) and a power source. The cable (2) is used to connect movable electric loads to the power source, and the cable (2) has a cable core which is surrounded by a casing (12) made of an insulating material and in which wires (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) are arranged that are used at least to supply power and transmit data and consist of insulated electric conductors. The assembly undergoes a specified number of movement cycles or bending cycles during operation. The cable (2) additionally has at least one insulated electric conductor (11) which is connected to an electric power source and which is connected to a measuring device in an electrically conductive manner, said measuring device monitoring the electric resistance of the conductor, wherein a signal or display device is connected to the measuring device. The additional conductor (11) can be integrated or arranged in the cable core so as to be connected to the cable over the entire length of the cable such that the additional conductor undergoes all the movements of the cable. The additional electric conductor (11) consists of the same electrically conductive material as the conductors of the wires (6, 7, 8, 9, 10) of the cable (2).

Es wird eine elektrische Leitung zum Anschluß ortsveränderlicher elektrischer Verbraucher an eine Speisequelle angegeben, welche eine von einem Mantel aus Isoliermaterial umgebene Leitungsseele aufweist, in der zumindest sowohl der Stromversorgung als auch der Datenübertragung dienende, aus isolierten elektrischen Leitern bestehende Adern angeordnet sind. Die Leitung weist zusätzlich mindestens einen an eine elektrische Stromquelle angeschlossenen, isolierten elektrischen Leiter auf, der mit einem den elektrischen Widerstand desselben überwachenden Meßgerät elektrisch leitend verbunden ist, an das ein Signal- bzw. Anzeigegerät angeschlossen ist. Der zusätzliche Leiter kann in der Leitungsseele integriert oder so angeordnet sein, dass er auf der ganzen Länge der Leitung fest mit derselben verbunden ist.
