[origin: EP3339529A1] Disclosed is a window assembly (1) comprising a window frame (2) arranged to be fixed to a building surface and a window sash (3) comprising a window pane (4), wherein the window sash (3) being mounted in the window frame (2) by means of a pivotal joint (5) enabling that the window sash (3) may pivot in relation to the window frame (2). The window assembly (1) further comprises window locking means (6) arranged at a top side (7) of the window assembly (1) to lock the window sash (3) in relation to the window frame (2) in a closed position and a locking handle (8) arranged on the window sash (3) to operate the locking means (6). The window assembly (1) is characterized in that the locking handle (8) is provided with light emitting means (9) arranged to illuminate at least a part of the window assembly (1).
