Abstract (en)

[origin: EP3339648A1] A description is given of a pump system comprising: - a pump which, to operate, requires a minimum level of liquid medium to be pumped in its pump head, and which comprises a non-return valve on its delivery side, and - a level regulator which is connected to the pump head and which has a connection for an air-suction pump, said level regulator being provided with: - a float chamber in which air and/or medium from the pump head is collected, - a float which moves up and down with the level of the medium in the float chamber, - a hollow body which, in operation, is connected to the air-suction pump, said hollow body comprising at least one wall having air holes between said hollow body and the float chamber, and - a member which is coupled to the float and which can be moved over the air holes along the outside of the at least one wall, said member being used to close or open the air holes.
