Abstract (en)

[origin: EP3340257A1] An insulated wire comprises a conductor and a cover layer arranged around the conductor. The cover layer comprises a laminated structure formed by laminating an inner flame-retardant layer, a high-electrical insulating layer and an outer flame-retardant layer. The inner flame-retardant layer is arranged around the conductor and comprises a polymer composition (A) comprising a flame retardant. The high-electrical insulating layer is arranged around the inner flame-retardant layer and comprises a polymer composition (B) having a volume resistivity of not less than 1x10 16 ©cm. The outer flame-retardant layer is arranged around the high-electrical insulating layer and comprises a polymer composition (C) comprising a flame retardant. The high-electrical insulating layer receives not less than 80% of voltage applied in a thickness direction of the laminated structure. The thickness of the high-electrical insulating layer is smaller than at least one of the thickness of the inner flame-retardant layer and the thickness of the outer flame-retardant layer.
