This acoustic sensor (10) comprises a membrane (20) with a first surface (21) and with a second surface (22), wherein the first and second surfaces (21, 22) form opposite sides of the membrane (20) and, with their edge, define a common surface perimeter, a housing (30) which carries the membrane (20) and at least limits an extent of the surface perimeter of the membrane (20) during an operation of the acoustic sensor (10), and a first electro-acoustic transducer (40) which is arranged on a first partial area (24) of the first surface (21) of the membrane (20), wherein the first partial area (24) is located to one side of an area centroid (23) of the first surface (21) of the membrane (20).
