[origin: WO2017036881A1] A lifting/pivoting device (22) for a manhole cover (5) of a protected vehicle (1) is proposed, comprising: a flange element (23), which can be fixedly connected to a roof (3) or a roof portion (10) of the vehicle (1), a sleeve element (26), which is mounted rotatably and axially immovably in the flange element (23), a column element (31), which is mounted movably in a longitudinal direction (L22) of the lifting/pivoting device (22) and for conjoint rotation in the sleeve element (26) and which can be fixedly connected to the manhole cover (5), an operating element (79) for operating the lifting/pivoting device (22), and a coupling device (59), which is designed for optionally coupling the operating element (79) to the sleeve element (26), in order to pivot the coupling device (59), the sleeve element (26) and the column element (31) together for pivoting the manhole cover (5), or for decoupling the operating element (79) from the sleeve element (26) such that the coupling device (59) can be turned in relation to the sleeve element (26) and the column element (31) for locking the manhole cover (5).
