Abstract (en)
A fan device (1) includes the following elements. An impeller (10) rotates around a central axis. A motor (20) rotates the impeller (10) positioned above the motor (20). A motor housing (21) houses the motor (20). A fan casing (2) forms a flow passage. An upper side of the fan casing (2) covers the impeller (10) and has a suction inlet (3). A lower side of the fan casing (2) has an evacuate outlet (4) communicating with the suction inlet (3) via the flow passage. The impeller (10) includes a base unit (11) enlarged downward and plural blades (12) arranged on the base unit (11). An impeller projection (11p) is formed on a bottom surface of the base unit (11). A groove (21g) denting downward is formed on a top surface of the motor housing (21). At least part of the impeller projection (11p) is housed within the groove (21g).
