[origin: WO2017036650A1] The invention relates to cosmetic or dermatological compositions for lightening skin in the form of oil-in-water emulsions, containing a combination of the following ingredients a) – d): a) 0.01 to 3.00 wt.% of at least one C12-20-alkyl phosphate or a C12-20-alkyl phosphate salt, b) 0.01 to 3.00 wt.% of at least one – optionally hydrolyzed – C14-20-mono- or diacylglycerol, c) 0.05 to 5.00 wt.% of at least one alkyl(oligo)glycoside of the general formula RO-[G]x, in which R represents a saturated alkyl group with 12 to 24 C atoms, G represents a sugar group with 5 or 6 C atoms, and x represents numbers from 1 to 10, and d) 0.01 to 10.00 wt.% of at least one skin lightening ingredient. The compositions are suitable for lightening age spots and/or freckles and/or balancing the skin color and/or achieving a more even skin appearance. The oil-in-water emulsions are additionally characterized by a particularly good storage stability and skin tolerance.
