[origin: CN108286179A] The invention relates to a laundry nursing device for drying laundry. The device is provided with a condensate container which is used for collecting condensate that is generated by the wet laundry ina drying process, wherein the laundry nersing device is provided with a bottom assembly. The bottom assembly is connected with the condensate container through a container pipe for introducing the condensate into the condensate container. Furthermore the condensate container can be taken out of a condensate container housing for emptying the condensate container and can be placed into the condensate container housing. The condensate container housing has an additional buffering storage volume for receiving the condensate, wherein the condensate container is connected with a clean pipe througha gate component, wherein the gate component has a spring component. The spring component is unloaded on the condition that the condensate container is taken out, thereby realizing a fact that the condensate flows out through the clean pipe by means of the opening of the unloaded gate component. The invention further relates to a method for operating the laundry nursing device.
