[origin: EP3346061A1] This toilet deodorizing method includes forming a lateral swirl flow (R1) of air laterally swirling along an inner surface of a toilet main body (11) and a traversal flow (R2) of air traversing the inside of the toilet main body (11), by discharging air into the toilet main body (11) of a toilet (1A) through a discharge port (117) and suctioning air in the toilet main body (11) through a suction port (118); and deodorizing an odor in the toilet main body (11) by using a deodorizing cartridge (deodorizing device) (113c) for eliminating an odorous component of air which flows due to the lateral swirl flow (R1) and the traversal flow (R2) and is suctioned through the suction port (118).
