[origin: WO2017042015A1] In order to create a loom having incorporated knitting threads, the corresponding device for incorporating knitting threads comprises a feeding mechanism for each knitting thread and, also for each knitting thread, a dipping guide needle (4) which includes a thread guiding eye and can dip between warp threads (2, 3) into the shed, all the way below the weft insertion path of the weft thread insertion mechanism (7). Each of the dipping guide needles (4) is arranged so as to be able to move transversely to the direction of the warp threads, thus being able to move across the width of the material to be woven. Furthermore, a combing shaft (10) is provided that has a plurality of teeth with intermediate spaces for guiding the knitting threads. The combing shaft (10) is arranged transversely to the direction of the warp threads, behind the stop position of the reed, can move transversely to the direction of the warp threads, and can rotate about an axis in the direction of the bar. The teeth of the combing shaft have protrusions which are designed in such a way that the teeth can retain the knitting threads in at least one rotational position of the combing shaft.
