The invention also relates to an electronic brake control unit which is suitable for carrying out the method and which is connected to at least one vehicle sensor, in particular steering angle sensor and/or yaw rate sensor and/or wheel speed sensors and which can bring about a driver-independent increase and modulation of the braking forces at the individual wheels of the motor vehicle by activating actuators.
