Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2017102274A1] The invention relates to a track clearer for a rail vehicle, comprising a track clearer bar (1) and at least two elongated spring elements (2, 2'), the longitudinal extension of which runs parallel to a vertical direction (Z) in the operating state. The spring elements (2, 2') are rigidly connected to a chassis frame (7) of the rail vehicle at one side, and the track clearer bar (1) is connected to the spring elements (2, 2') via a connection means (3) at the other side. The aim of the invention is to achieve particularly good structurally dynamic properties and to prevent horizontal vibrations in the longitudinal direction (X) as much as possible. According to the invention, this is achieved in that the center of mass (M) of the track clearer is arranged within a distance (D) to a vertical plane (E) which runs through the geometric center of gravity (S 2,S 2 ') of the spring elements (2, 2'). The distance (D) is between 0% and 40%, preferably between 0% and 25%, in particular between 0% and 15%, of the width (B) of the track clearer bar (1), said distance being measured normally to the vertical plane (E).
