[origin: WO2018073155A1] The invention relates to a clearing strip (1) for the clearing blade of a snowplow comprising a securing collar (2) on which an elongated rubber element (3) is vulcanised, which has a freely bendable wear section (3a) protruding downwards and in which hard-material wear elements are embedded over the wear height (H). The object of the invention is to improve the wear resistance of clearing strips of the this type in that they are better suited for use at high clearing speeds and/or on uneven clearing surfaces and achieve longer service lives. According to the invention, this object is achieved in that a reinforcement is secured to the securing collar (2), which extends over at least the upper third of the wear height (H) and which is integrally connected to the rubber element (3).
