[origin: WO2017052475A1] The present invention provides a collapsible intermediate bulk container, the container comprising: (a) a top portion; (b) a bottom portion; and (c) a flexible medial portion disposed between the top and bottom portions, wherein the medial portion comprises a plurality of horizontal fold lines resulting in accordion pleats forming ridges and troughs to allow a substantially vertical expansion or collapse of the container under the action of a substantially vertical force on the container.
