[origin: EP3354371A1] The present invention relates to a continuous casting method for a slab, which controls locations of segregations and shrinkage cavities that are generated within a slab. The continuous casting method for a slab according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: primarily cooling the slab by a mold while the molten steel is injected into an area that is biased from a central portion of an inside of the mold in a thickness direction of the slab; and secondarily cooling the slab by spraying cooling water to a surface of the slab while drawing the slab that is primarily cooled by the mold.
