[origin: WO2017060262A1] The invention relates to a squib which makes it possible to produce a flame during several minutes, outdoors, in unfavourable weather conditions, in order to ignite the oxidiser used to destroy waste. It mainly includes an open tube (1) in which steel wool (9) is placed, inside of which is placed a wire (8) which can be sublimated under electrical stress. Said wire is supplied with power by an electrical cord (6) running along the disc (3) placed on the cross-section of the open tube (1). A compressed-air intake pipe (4) passes through said disc (3) and the foam reinforcement (2) thereof in order to blow air into the open tube (1). The assembly self-destructs during the use thereof. The invention is useful in open-air waste destruction.
